With globalization, traveling across country and around the world for business and fun is an everyday event. With it comes the chore of packing in a travel suitcase.

What Is The Process of Packing A Travel Suitcase

The first thing one should do before a major trip is make a list of all items to be packed. A list for travel packing is a must for best results and creating it should not be taken lightly. For example, there are several things that are absolutely necessary to be packed, such as enough clothes for the stay, all the needed toiletries, the clothes steamer, and various other required items.

Packing is really easy, but the proper process needs to be understood. It is similar to going shopping. The best way is to make a list, and then during shopping the necessary items are one by one taken from the shelf. Here as well, while packing, all the items written beforehand on the list should be packed in the travel suitcase.

Without the list, when the actual time for packing comes, people tend to forget and leave out items that they will really need during the trip. All packing is stressful to a degree, and it is very easy to forget things. A list will take care of this.

Steps To Properly Pack a Travel Suitcase

The first items to be packed should be the undergarments, or the underwear. They have be folded in half and added right at the bottom of the luggage. One of the reason why it is important is due to the recent increases in searches at the airport during check-in. Having the underwear as the first thing security will see when they open the luggage is painfully embarrassing. If nothing else, this reason alone should prompt anyone to pack their undergarments at the very bottom of the suitcase. Some people prefer to put the socks at the top, others right at the bottom along with the undergarment. It is really a personal preference how it is done.

Next come the folded pants. Folding the clothes means less wrinkles in them. Even if a portable clothes steamer is included in the bag, it is better to fold the clothes before adding them to the travel suitcase. Once folded in half, trousers should be packed laying down at the bottom right after the undergarment. Of course, if the bag is relatively small, the pair of trousers can be folded even twice. These will be stacked in 2 piles, neatly organized.

Once the trousers are packed, next follow the nicely folded shirts. If the suitcase is smaller, they should be folded twice, just like the trousers.

Any other item, such as any cosmetics, a portable clothes steamer or hair dryer will be added at the top, cushioned nicely by the clothes already packed.

Packing the travel suitcase for the next trip doesn't need to be a chore. It is nothing more than following the list point by point and adding the clothes in a logical order, that makes sense and utilizes the luggage place in the most convenient way.
